
When my father went to the doctor for a check up a few years ago, he learned, after much testing that he has a form of dementia. We have been through some tough times for sure. We have 3 caregiverswith Sonshine that stay with him at his home up to 24/7. Financially, this works well, because his private insurance reimburses us the cost. Not to mentionit is about half the cost of an assisted living facility, and he gets complete one on one care. They communicate with each other on the schedule and always keep us informed. Each one of them is devoted to keeping my dad safe and happy. They go for walks at the park, and help him care for his four-legged best friend, Rex. Each of them had prior experience withthis terrible disease, and are able to keep him calm and happy most days. It is very hard to have this happen to a parent, but having Sonshine has been so reassuring to our family. He stays in great spirits, and we spend much less time worrying about his safety. Ihighlyrecommend them, and suggest to always look at all of your options. Him being able to be in his own home with Rex was obviously our first choice. We couldn't have done it without Sonshine's help!
